Christopher Samuel Bufkin

Christopher Samuel Bufkin

Of Counsel
Dallas, Texas

Chris was born in Dallas and attended high school in rural Texas. He was raised by his single mother. In high school, Christopher helped care for his ailing grandfather, a WWII B-17 pilot, when his cancer rendered him bedfast. Caring for his grandfather in those final days taught Christopher the value of  placing the needs of others before his own. His grandfather also taught him the value of keeping a sense of humor during the hardest of times.

During high school he lettered in five sports. It was the challenges within these sports which taught him the value of perseverance and hard work to improve himself, not just in the sport, but in life.  He graduated from Texas A&M University - Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication. He returned to school at the Oklahoma City University School of Law. While in law school he was Vice President of the Texas Legal Society and a moot court competitor.  He also married his wife during law school. They have a daughter and two dogs.

Chris has been associated with Thomas J. Lochry P.C. since 2012.  He has represented clients on state criminal matters before municipal, county, district and juvenile courts in Dallas and the surrounding counties.
